Had dinner with Twinny Love that day at Shiok Maki!

Queue was long as usual but lucky for me, Twinny love queued up for us and when I reached, it was just nice our turn for a sit-in!

Ordered 4 dishes along with two cups of iced green tea each.

1) Salmon Skin
2) Shiok Maki Sushi - 2nd Generation 
3) Garlic fried rice 
4) Cold Tofu 

The iced green tea, cold tofu and shiok maki were my favourites.
I did try Shiok Maki - 1st gen before and I thought it was still abit better than the 2nd Gen one but the 2nd Gen one had its uniqueness as well.
Salmon skin was good too but just a tad too salty and garlic fried rice was rather ordinary I thought.

Total Bill amounted to about SGD39.00 which was rather reasonable for small-eaters like me cus I was rather full after this meal.












The thoughts and loves that Twinny Love got me from Korea.
And Laneige was the best buy ever.
It's so much cheaper in Korea as compared to that in Singapore.
Why oh why, is everything so expensive in Singapore?!



Managed to meet up with sis the other day as well, oh how much i miss her after this little one got so indulged with her new relationship. Haha, but nevertheless, always happy and proud of her. She's gonna start her SMU path very soon <3



The hypes and craze over Singing Bone , Limited Edition Hello Kitty.
I didnt manage to get my piece cus the queue was overwhelming and it was really insane to queue out to the main road for most outlets or to go Mac at say, 3am while others are asleep.
I'm indeed a Kitty fan but I'm not silly till the extent that I do things that are out of my reach or sanity.

My colleague managed to get it from some trade deals and so I could only lend it to take a pose. haha.

Yellow Sunshine.

I always wish that after every rain showers,
the sun will appear vividly depicting that the better has come.
And I wished that the sunshine will just keep blinding the eyes so that no more tears can be formed. 

I usually wear blue on a Monday in line with the supra Monday Blues that all working adults are experiencing with.
The refusal to wake up, to drag your heavy feet to work, especially after a long break from weekends.
But that day was a two-day work week for me because of my exam leaves plus a public holiday declared in Singapore.
So I decided to go with some bubbly colours to light up my mood.
Sunshine yellow was the colour I chose!
To be honest, I do not have much yellow outfits.
This is probably the only piece or second piece that I have in yellow.
I seldom wear yellow because I thought I look awful in yellow and tat yellow is a colour that is a tad too striking and i didnt want people to be staring at my outfit while i'm walking on the streets.
But I definitely feel so great with this yellow bubbly dress cus it's plainjane that makes it not complicated.

ARDENT'S Cafebar!

It was Ting's last day at work on friday and we had a mini farewell for her while in the office.

The previous day I was on half-day leave and I got to meet up with my dearest Swee!
Feels great seeing her as always and never the need to hide anything from her.
Hope little Swee will grow up healthy and not torture his mummy's sleep at night!
I Love them both! :)

So I came to work on the friday morning with this on my table:



Haha, it's great to have such 'secret-admirer' who makes your day beautiful with little gestures like this.

Then came more, this time round, not anonymous.
Thanks Ting for the farewell gift!
You have always been a great help all these while.
Without you, i think i will just die in my multiple reports generation process.
Urm, yes, she is giving a tad too much stuffs.
That day was like teacher's day, we kept receiving this and that. Haha.



Made a pact with my two babies at work to have a dinner date together.
And thanks to Meiyun's suggestion, we had a great place for dinner!

Ardent's Cafebar was the place we had dinner. Not sure if reservations are compulsory, but we did make a reservations for three beforehand to secure the seats as the place ain't very big to start with.

Upon stepping into the cafe, it gave me a nice modern vintage feel with its floral and garden setting.

Food that I Ordered: Egg Benedict (They have all-day breakfast! YIPPEE!!)

Beverages Ordered: Passion Fruit Margarita, Strawberry Margarita & Mojito 

Desserts:  Crème brûlée & Chocolate Lava Cake with Hazelnut Ice-Cream. 

Overall, food was awesome. I guess for people with a bigger appetite, you may need to order more stuffs because the portion is not as huge as other restaurants or cafes that serve in American-style. But it was just nice for me as I don't have a big appetite and am the type whereby a main dish can fulfil my meal.

My favourite of the night was the Crème brûlée! 
I shall try to bake it someday! :P

Total Bill amounted to around 130SGD for 3 pax.

Adorable how they classified non-alcoholics under virgins category and we were making fun of Ting like how she should have chose something from there because she took a tad too long to drink finish her Strawberry Margarita which was not strong in alcohol content to begin with. =D
