Pre-Graduation Shoots + Convocation!

It comes a long way for me to really rejoice over the fact that I have officially graduate from Curtin Singapore as a Bachelor of Commerce Degree holder.

Went to collect the regalia on a Saturday which was the weekend before the convocation itself.
On the very day of collection, I went straight to Serangoon Broadway for my individual photoshoot and towards the afternoon, together with le parents and bf, we headed over to Gardens By The Bay for my pre-graduation outdoor shoots.

Le Bf bought the Curtin graduation bear for me which marks a meaningful symbol as the bear wore the same regalia as me =D It costs SGD50.00 for such a small bear but I guess, some things are more than just monetary terms right?

Was way too overjoyed so deardear took this photo for me which i posted onto instagram :)

The outdoor shoot ended after taking about 100 photos.
Weather was way too scorching hot for me to withstand it cus I was in crazy attire that is thick and warm.

SHOUTOUT TO FREEDOM!

OMG! Can't believe that today marks the last of my exams in Curtin Singapore.

I yearn for July to come so that I can look forward to release of results, and say a final GOODBYE to University!!

No one will ever understand and be able to relate the joy in me because there were many unexplained pains and gains along the journey. 

It weren't at all easy to get through university-level study as a part-time student when on the other hand you have to give equal attention to your career.

Whatever it is, I'm so so glad that it's over and I hope I can pass with flying colours!

Vesak Day

Happy Vesak Day to all!

And thanks to Vesak Day, I need not have to work on Monday either.

Which is why I mentioned that I have a long weekend to spend.

But definitely, I gotta allocate some time for projects and presentation preparation as usual.

I woke up this morning to bad nightmares again.
I am those sort of people who seldom dream while sleeping and once I start to have the influx of dreams, the dreams usually turn out to be ridiculous nonsense.

It was the second time I dreamt about almost the same scenario and the person involved is one of my family member. So I got quite worried actually.

Went to the Shuang Lin Monastery at Toa Payoh with dad and mum in the morning as it was Vesak Day.

As usual, the temple is always packed with people on this day.

I like the place very much because it always give me a very peaceful feel.

Not only that, I always feel that their architecture as well as displays always blend into the concept of nature and it never fails to appeal to the locals as well as the foreigners who will drop by for a photograph. This is one of those places that foreigners would visit if they ever come to Singapore. 

The place is very much decorated with live nature like plants and flowers and non-living designs like carvings, stones and big rocks. 

Chanced upon the beautiful lotus flower that was full bloomed. 

After I took the photo, everyone else who saw started to take out their Iphones or cameras to shoot. Haha! It's such a babe isn't it?! The inner part of it indeed looks like the lotus roots that we eat. 

Burnt Week.

For those who devoted themselves to my blog and left me messages on my phone as to why I didn't update my blog yesterday, thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to spend a little while at my little corner.

I'm sorry I'm getting a little bit too busy than usual due to packed work schedule as well as school load especially for this semester because I have two very heavy modules that will require me to submit assignments every two weeks from now. Needless to add on, those group projects, presentations, ongoing meet-ups blah blah blah. It's really not a good timing to splurge my days off because of the tight schedules and many of you know, I gotta leave Singapore for Shanghai for a week.

But you wouldn't know how much it meant to me when people whom are important to me are bothering to read about my life. I do monitor my blog statistics everyday because it would be the first page I am seeing when I logged on to blogger. But I wouldn't know your identifications offhand because it's classified into countries as well as users mode of access like android, ipad etc etc. It's incredible how blogger capture my blog readers from countries like United States, Indonesia, Russia, Brazil and Germany as well. Haha.

Anyway, I wouldn't like a publicised blog but I'm glad I have concerned readers. So Thank You All! :)

Oh yes, I am in love with an Iphone application that a friend of mine introduced me to. For those who have yet to download it, you should really go and take a look because it's really kawaii-neh!

It's called Line Naver, in short, Line, which works something like Whatsapp but comes along with cute stickers, emoticons and emojis.

I was being an irritant and flooded my bestie colleague with the stickers. 

Alrights, just a short post for today as I'm gonna do the necessary routines and get myself immersed with schoolwork later.

HELLO FYFY!

It's Friday and I'm back to the status of not being able to enjoy TGIF again because of night class as per before. It sucks when everyone else are all heading out after work and you are dismissed from work earlier than others only to end up burning your night at some boring school, with boring people and there goes your friday night. 

BOOHOOS, I SERIOUSLY HATE SCHOOL! 

Attended first lesson of my third semester, did my ever first fingerprint attendance which was insanely and ridiculously stupid. Now, the earliest I can ever be released from class is 9.45pm. Kudos to the school new system.

Once again, it's a new class, new people to work with and new environment to adapt all over again. 

I don't really bother if people likes me or hates me to the core, whatever it is, I just wanna get my degree over and done with. 

Audrey darling was so sweet! She tweeted me days back to say that we could head home together after school cus she had a change of timetable and is having lesson on friday from 7pm-10pm as well. Then just before I reported to school today, she tweeted again and said that we will meet at the security guardhouse after class to go home together.

After class, while walking down the stairs, Aud was already standing there waiting for me! Awwss. She even drove me home! 9.45pm end school and i'm home at 10.15pm. How nice right! and she whatsapp to say that it'll always be the case on friday from now on. See how lovely she is! :))

OH YES! I finally completed my set of hello kitty animals which I adored to the max!

They were my motivation every month. As they don't come cheap, I didn't want to buy them all at one go because it wouldn't mean anything to me. Hence, I came up with the plan to reward myself every month for working and studying hard by only restricting myself to purchase one every end month. 

Previously, I don't understand how it feels for those people who go to the arcade to fish for those toys they like. Used to think that was such a silly and money-wasting game. Till now, I still think so but what I'm trying to depict here is the feeling within that no one can understand except yourself. Hard-earned money that don't come easy at all, and you spend it on something you really adore.

Leap Years!

It's 29 February which marks the Leap Year!

The last leap year seemed like it just passed not long ago and here comes a new leap year again.
4 years have passed so rapidly.

It was supposed to be Baby Mikaela's date of birth today but cousin and wife went for induction instead because it is quite saddening for the baby if her birthday were to be on 29 Feb isn't it?

Haven't had the chance to visit Baby Mikaela but I will definitely make it to her 1st month which will be one day after I return from Shanghai.

Oh, I just came out from mummy's stomach, am i looking good?

Mummy kept saying that Mikaela is as fat as me when I was young. Helloooooo! The fact is she is 3.75kg but I was 3.3kg. (still fat , but not as fat okay? hehe) I was way too chubby for a baby's good. Everyone who saw me when I was a baby was like: "OMG! WHY SO FAT!" But I must say I was really adorable when I was younger. Hehe.

Walked to Mac with the lovely colleagues for lunch today because it was a special day. We mentioned that we wanted to snap a photo together on this special day but gosh, we forgot and left office without a shot!

Shall make an attempt to sleep early tonight because I didn't get to sleep well last night. I'm having the symptoms of not being able to turn in well at night and not being able to wake up on time the next morning. This is bad.

And oh, I'm really overjoyed over my results! So far out of the two semesters, I have attained 2 distinctions and 2 credits. Though having a Pass as the grades might be good enough but the fact that you are juggling over both work and school responsibilities will make you feel accomplished when you are able to attain unexpected and surprising results. I'm so glad I didn't fail that idiotic Industrial Relations, which means that I do not have to re-take that irritable module, which means...
