CNY EVE 2013.

Know it's abit lag, but well, I gotta bring myself back to blogging about Chinese New Year. (CNY).

CNY was rather abrupt for me this year because days before CNY itself, I went overseas to Nanjing, Jiangsu as you all know.

A few days after I came back, I gotta readjust myself to suit the festive atmosphere.

As usual for CNY, I woke up early in the morning to help mummy with her household chores.
Thereafter, bathed and got myself ready to go to dear's grandma place for reunion dinner with his family and relatives. This year was at his auntie's place though.

Every CNY eve, I gotta be a glutton.
Cus after the meal with his family, we will make our way back to my home for second-round reunion dinner. #fatdieme.

Me all in red, ready for the first-round.

After second-round dinner at my house, we headed out to Chinatown for some instillation of festive mood.
The crowd was atrocious.
There were so many people , it was so difficult to pass through even a small junction.
But of cus, we went there willingly with such expectations.

With Dear! :)

And because of the tremendous crowd, we put off the intention to watch fireworks.
However, we were so lucky because at 11.59pm, we were stuck at a spot where fireworks can be seen vividly!

Too many shots of unclear fireworks snapped, so just upload one here:)

CNY Day 1 - 4 to be updated soon! :)

Kin Mookata

The other day during the Chinese New Year period, I had a sumptuous dinner with the horsies colleagues - Ade, Beibei, Yun & Lily.

We went to Kin Mookata at Joo Chiat which was a Thai-styled steamboat buffet.

There were food like hotdogs, sotongs, pork meat and beef for BBQ, minced pork, quail eggs, vegetables, egg, vermicelli, crabmeat, prawns, meatballs, mushrooms, tofu, pork liver and more.

My favourite of all was minced pork ! It makes the soup taste fabulous !

The concept of it was rather unique given that it is situated at a coffeeshop and the buffet-style was served readily by the staffs there.

A Trip to Jiangsu (10days)

Woahs, been a tad too long since I last left my footprints here.

So it's time for me to get back on track again and update more often.
Time passed and in a wink, Chinese New Year is over!
Here comes March and my new semester is about to commence and I can't wait for June to come when all my school burden will be over and I will be going for my very own university graduation ceremony on October 2013.
Everything has just passed too fast, far too fast for me to really remember the hectic-ness of every single details.

Awhile back, I went to Jiangsu for my business trip with one my colleague.
It was a cold -4Degree Celsius when we landed at Nanjing Airport.
However, to Singaporeans like us who are so used to the scorching hot weather, we felt more of cooling that freezing cold =D

Some pictures taken during the trip, so let the peektures do the talking for awhile now:
