Its our 1461days anniversary!
To simplify, today marks our 4 years anniversary!

Oh, how time passed in such a brisk manner! I could still remember vividly the fond memories we went through 4 years before.
From normal friends to someone closer, to who we are today.
Thank you for being who you are and making me who I am today.
I Love You My Dear <3

Deardear had it all planned for today so I am a lucky gal who just sits around and follow according to plan.
The day before, he told me not to eat any breakfast as we are going for Dim Sum.
But today morning, he came fetching me at 11plus and I was like "Dim Sum at this late hour?"
Eventually he drove me to Cathay area and took me to this place called Tao's Restaurant (陶餐厅) where he made reservation for lunch  for the two of us.

Tao's Restaurant
1 Selegie Road, PoMo,
(Formerly known as Paradiz Centre)
#B1-19, Singapore 188306
For Reservations: 6339 8858

The name itself depicts a very chinese form of gourmet it would be and the interior itself is like a combination of designs that makes its relatively simple but unique.
However, not to be misleaded by the name itself, it actually carries a fusion of Western and Asian food which either 6 course or 7 course meal.

This was the menu which we saw at the restaurant and you can have it downloaded from their website too.

Dear's chosen dishes:

  • Bacon & Mushroom Gratin (Standard)
  • Tao's Signature Fruit Salad
  • Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • Sirloin Steak with brown mushroom sauce
  • Tiramisu
  • Iced Grape Mallow Tea
My chosen dishes:

  • Bacon & Mushroom Gratin (Standard)
  • Tao's Signature Fruit Salad
  • Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • Grilled Spicy Chicken
  • Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
  • Iced Summer Peach Tea
The bacon & mushroom gratin was served immediately after you finished your order, along with toasted bread where it was rather a unique combination given that gratin was more solid form as compared to the normal style of eating bread dipped with soup. And if you think you haven't got enough of the bread, you can actually request to have more. We obviously stopped at the first serving because there are definitely more for you to chew on with the later part of your course.

Bacon & Mushroom Gratin with Bread
The signature fruit salad came after this and it was real yummy as well.
The sauce that blended the fruits and lettuce was really awesome, like the taste of honeydew sago =D
Tao's signature fruit salad
And came the cream of mushroom which was what I was kinda pleased with too.
The normal kind of cream of mushroom won't be like what the Tao's served.
Their cream of mushroom was really pure thick and you could even bite on the plenty pieces of mushroom.
To top it up with its uniqueness, the white liquid-like thing you see on top is actually coconut milk.
Surprisingly, the combination makes it real tasty!
Cream of Mushroom
Tao's sure lived up to their uniqueness concept with the way they served the drinks.
See?! So gorgeous like you are drinking some afternoon tea and I really love the authentic taste of the teas.
Grape Mallow Tea & Iced Summer Peach Tea
Finally, the main dishes came!
Dear was pleased with his Sirloin steak with mushroom sauce and I think my grilled spicy chicken was not bad either.
They had this crispy Yam as decor that tasted real good too! Hehe.

By then, both of us were already raging full. Haha, but there are always still room for desserts!
Dear had his Tiramisu while I had my chocolate chip ice cream. XD

Choc Chip Ice cream
Bill amounted to about 60plus for both of us but they had 10% discount for UOB card holders and so eventually bill was about SGD55.00 for the two of us (:

Everything planned today was on my boy's expense, Teeheehee!

My boy reading LOVE CARD

I <3 YOU!
After which, we went to the Grand Cathay for our movie date with "Total Recall".
Not too bad for an action movie like this.
And after which, with Metro having storewide sale, we went to the branch at Sengkang where I got the boy a Tempur Pillow since he was complaining that his neck was super uncomfy from his old pillow which he has used for quite some time.

So this is the one that was bought - Contour.

Apparently, I am not a fan of contour pillows but Tempur had it such that it really feels so different from any other contour pillows that I have bought and threw away.
Tempur pillows dont come cheap and so I was contemplating whether to buy one for myself.
Maybe I will someday when my old pillow becomes useless too!
With Metro 20% storewide sale, you can get Tempur Contour pillow at SGD230plus.
He is such a happy boy now! :)

You&Me
Always Happy Together.
And Crazily In Love! <3

Sagittarians

Was doing my individual project assignment and I chanced upon the traits of a sagittarian, which I thought was quite interesting.

Based on the traits depicted by a Sagittarian, I can conclude that I am a pure sagittarian. It's true how the below mentioned traits reveal most of the character of me:

  1. Intelligent: People usually think you're dumb on first sight but once they get to know you, they realised you are intelligent and become fond of your talent. (Erms, I am not super intelligent but I don't think I'm a fool either)
  2. Straightforward: Yes you are very daring (Do not ask a sagittarian how you're looking, they can easily say the truth "I think your dressing is not at all fashionable, or simply you're ugly.") They meant no hard feelings because they are just so direct and straight to the point. They just dislike to be fake. (Oh, this is so true! I just cannot be fake, like means like, hate means hate and I tend to say it or show it on my face straight)
  3. Awfully attractive: Yes! You are always surrounded by many people and you're always the center of attention. You'll always be the stunning star of the evening! (I don't think I'm awfully attractive, just that I can easily befriend and make friends fond of me and have many friends around me all the times)
  4. Careless: Sagittarians are always very careless. You'll often find them searching for their keys, wallet, journals etc. They simply cannot remember where they put their stuffs and end up losing this and that. (This is so true, that is why I talked about losing my precious anklet previously. sigh!)
  5. Responsible: You're a Born Leader! (Not so much of a born leader but I definitely think I'm responsible because be it sch project work or work, I will never shirk responsibility. What is to be done, must be done)
  6. Totally cool: It's hard for you to impress a sagittarian because they simply have their principles and strong character that you just think they are super cool on the outlook. (People say I'm dao on first sight. hahaha!)
  7. Easy-going: You do not need to have any tension when you are with a sagittarian they are just so easy-going and nice. (If you know me well enough, I'm definitely very easy-going and not unapproachable on first sight!)
  8. Adventurer: Doing the impossible is definitely a sagittarian's favourite chore. They love to travel and discover new things. ( Indeed I love to travel and discover new insights and accepts challenges!)
  9. Good sense of humor: Sagittarian just have the flair to make your day with a good laugh. (I can be super crappy at times because my sense of humor is passed down from daddy. LOL)
  10. Decency & Grace: Sagittarians adore people with decent attitudes and when it comes to a selections, they possess good tastes in choosing and suggesting the best. It's their gift to have unique tastes. (Oh yes super true! I hate to mix around with indecent people and so I super dislike people who are just indecent and act like sluts / bitches)
  11. Friendly: Humbleness and politeness is their nature and even though they are friendly, they have a reserved group of social circle. (Definitely true that I have a reserved group of social circle whom I trust )
  12. Independent:Sagittarians do not rely on others and can depend on themselves for the all-year round tasks. They love freedom and hates being tied down by routine-life. (Needless to say, since young, i'm super independent!)
I somehow love being a sagittarian because I am always younger than friends of my age group. Teehee! Birthdays always seemed so faraway for me even though the difference of a year is similar to that of others.

The other day I mentioned that I will jog weekly and I am really determined to do so.
Went for a night jog last night with dearest and felt super refreshed thereafter. Kudos to me for running 2.2km non-stop. It's quite an achievement to me given that I have not trained my stamina for the past few years? So gradually, I am gonna increase the distance and stay healthy! (:

Hunger Games

After so long, I finally had my movie marathon all over again.

Watched the Hunger Games just yesterday and I really liked it.
Heard from deardear that part 2 will be released in November 2013.
So gonna watch it!

The plot is actually more towards the theme of survival.

Jennifer Lawrence was the main actress and in the movie, her sister was chosen by the evil Capitol of the nation of Panem forces to compete in the Hunger Games. However, Jennifer Lawrence volunteered to replace her sister and so she went for the "game".
In the midst of the so-called Hunger Games, many will be sacrificed and at the end of the day, only one can survive.

For those yet to watch, do go and catch the movie and you will know whether she survived or not.

Can't wait for part 2 to be out and I think I might buy the book!

Over the weekends, Dear and me had a meal at V8 Cafe , Bugis Junction.

Food was not bad at reasonable pricing.

We were like greedy pigs cus we didn't at all had a meal till dinner comes along.

And on a healthier side, I'm starting on the Innershine diet - Berry Essence for the Eyes.

I think this is really beneficial to me because I spent long hours infront of laptops at work, at home and in school. Most of my time were burnt staring at those glary screens and I am not surprised if my eyes degree were to deteriorate.

A large majority of us also tend to wear contact lenses for extended periods of time. Add this to the unavoidable exposure to damaging UV rays in our sunny climate and we do not realize the tremendous amount of strain our vital sight organs undergo every day.

And when I reach 25 years old, I will start on the collagen diet which all women will require to keep your skin as firm as youth.

On a happier note, I finally got the top part of my ear pierced! Yes, it's at the soft bones area and it kinda hurt right now and compared to the normal ear lobe, it will take a longer time to heal at the soft bones. Well, who cares? I only live life once and I gotta satisfy myself since I have always wanted a pierce there. Shall take a pic when it don't hurt that much.

Till then, Happy Monday everyone!
