Kombi Rocks!

Been quite some time since I last met up with the girls and i'm so glad we finally did! 

Sze was asking as to where we should go and I finally thought of a super cool place which we could hang out at. 

And that was, Kombi Rocks @ 66 Yio Chu Kang Road!!! 

Just incase you are wondering what that is, it's actually a cafe with the vintage concept!

I told you I was supra interested in vintage cafes didn't I? Hee.

Made a reservation for 3 pax at 7.00pm for dinner with the gals.

We had a few dishes and I shared the giant root beer float with Sze which was just nice for two. 

All in all, we had Tom Yum Soup with prawns & fish, Minced Meat with Basil (Which was my favourite), Kailan with mushroom, Sliced Fish with Onion & Garlic and 3 bowls of plain rice.

Cin had the mom-made barley too!

Overall, the food were delicious and price was reasonable as well.

Each of us paid around SGD19.00 for the 4 dishes & 1 drink. 

I loved how hip my gals were because we actually made an attempt to dress up vintage to suit the theme of      the cafe!

I have just woke up from my short nap & is gonna clear a tad load of work later on. 

But before that, some updates to do! 

Yesterday marks the last lesson of the semester and I am supra happy. 

Every single semesters that passed by would be it's about time I should graduate soon. 

Just a year more to go and I'm done with my life as a student and I can concentrate on many other things which I have always wanted to get engaged in according to priority list as per below: 

1. Learn Driving 
2. Personal Business Plans 
3. Sign up for yoga package 
4. Sign up for language classes (Korean, Japanese, Cantonese) 
5. More travelling! 

To sidetrack a little, I got a gorgeous Hermes Inspired Bracelet recently which I haven got a chance to wear but will find a chance to! It belongs to the leather brown colour which is one my fav colour!

It was the boy's ORD on friday - 25 May 2012 so I took time off, skipped school and headed over to his Commando's camp with his parents for his ORD parade.

So proud of all that he has gone through as a commando for the past 1 year 10 months.

I remember back in secondary sch days I have always adore uniformed group guys especially those in number one uniform when they are at the national day parade. I even told one of my secondary school bestie back then that we will both search for a boyfriend who is from uniformed group.
Though it ain't very true that I have a uniformed group boyfriend now because after his ORD, he is not gonna bond himself anymore, but still, it's like a little wish come true because he was once in that uniform. (:

A Girl, Not A Woman.

Explaining or commenting too much eventually leads to no outcomes.
So I chose to stop blabbering and keep all feelings within to myself.
I will no longer say a single shit because it doesn't make a difference anyway.
It will only get things worse.

Am too tired for such nonsense and I don't even know how to put it across anymore.

You just didn't understand.
I am like any other girls.
So what if I am strong and independent on the outside?
All I ever wanted was you to look at me as a girl, not a woman.

I am not fine when I said I was.
I struggle to handle many things even though I expressed it such that I am able to settle everything on my own.
Just when all actions of yours matter, you disappoint me the most.

Treat it as I do not need the attention, love, care or concern.
Continue to just treat me like a superwoman needless of any of the aforesaid.
Whatever it is, it always results back to me, it's always my fault, it's always me trying to be ridiculous when you don't even know how it feels being so alone and feel used only when you needed me.

I mentioned I won't say anymore, so I will not and never will..

Resorts World, Sentosa.

Had a day off from reporting to work in the office and headed out to Resorts World Sentosa to checkout the ongoing exhibition held there.

After which, I walked around RWS to have a few shots, bought some stuffs and headed to Vivocity to have my lunch alone.

Went Vivo and got Mummy the Sephora's foot cream of my favourite brand.
She has been doing too much chores and her feet cracked like nobody's business.
Hope this will be of good use!

Sometimes you just need some time alone so that you can spend a little more time for yourself.
Or a little more time to think through the ups and downs and to make some sound decisions after having thought through.
Perhaps, also to understand your inner-self better.
And I truly enjoyed myself today, alone.

The other day after our make-up lesson on a Saturday, I made my way to town with my classmate, Sofia whom I called her by Sayang! 

We ended up dining at Charlie Brown Cafe for for lunch.

Food was awesome and I really love my chicken lasgna to the max !
Usually small cafes like this dont offer much variety but at Charlie Brown Cafe, we can have an assortment of varieties to choose from.
Price is also quite reasonable. For 2 pax, we paid about 20bucks each for the food and drinks.
(No service charge incurred as mentioned by Charlie!)
The only thing is on super hot weathers, you won't want to go there because it's more of an outdoor sitting area with no air-conditioner.
The both of us were happy gals that day! Hehe.

Oh Boy, exams are round the corner for me and I gotta start getting myself addicted to mugging once again.
But nevertheless, it's less than a month to my Taiwan Trip!!! So EGGCITED! =D

Mother's Day.

Okay, backtracked to last week on Mother's Day! 


Met up with the boy early in the morning and went to the nearest florist to buy 3 stalks of Carnations.
1 was for Mummy, 2nd one for Dear's mum and another one was for his sister who is celebrating her first year of Mother's Day.

Had lunch at the boy's house while his family cooked a feast.
Sadly immediately after lunch, I gotta head out to have my last project meet-up with the guy and gals before our final submission.So I made my way to Raffles Place again.

Then got home after which to prepare and head out for Mother's Day celebration with mummy, dear, bro and bro's gf at mum's fav restaurant - Pu Tien. 

Had the Dinner Set meal specially for Mummy and Pu Tien's service was really good despite the high influx of customers that day. Moreover, they even gave all tables a complimentary family photo as part of their service gesture.
