NDP 2012

HAPPY 47TH BIRTHDAY, SINGAPORE! :)

Reasons why I loved Singapore:

  • So what if we are small? We are recognized for a clean & green environment.
  • We have a set of prefixed law that keeps our nation stable and safe.
  • We are lucky that we do not have natural disasters like volcano eruption, landslides, tornado etc.
  • There is peace and harmony
  • And most importantly, this is where I have my loved ones, families and friends.
Thanks to dear, we had tickets for the actual day of NDP itself at the floating platform!

Reached the NDP at almost 4pm and had a seat at the centre of the green sector where we could see the stage quite clearly. Not a bad seating, so we were really lucky!
We had four tickets and so I brought daddy and mummy along as well!
Daddy was such a hyper Singaporean when the parade starts too!
And of cus Mummy was rather excited to be able to join NDP2012 parade especially after so many years since she last participated in NDP as an audience.

My Bestest Daddy!

Dearest Mummy & Boy

Had the normal security checks and all and got our way to the green sector to get seated down!

Nice green background!

Love this pic with redness!
As we get seated down, we got ourselves busy with meddling and ransacking the fun pack to see what was inside.
And TA DA! I got myself started HIGH with tattoos!

It started with just one Singapore Flag
And my mischievous boy made me become tattoo-insane like these:

Then, the tattoo on my face was made spolit!
From Singapore , it became Singap. :(

My brilliant masterpiece on his face!

The funpack got so many interesting stuffs and this was one of my fav!

It's a stretch-ruler that works like a band too!

The LED light inside is amazing!

And another of my fav was the torchlight which was meant for the finale!
So beautiful right?!

Needless to say, the moment we sat down, it was pictures after pictures!
See the scenic day view of Marina Bay Sands here!

There were personnels who made balloons as well and mummy said she wanted a puppy dog. LOL! no childhood ah my mum!

So there goes the doggie for mummy!

Sights of the parade!

Night falls as the parade got into its peak and again, again scenic night view of MBS!

Fireworks!!!

All high at parade! Teehee!

DADDY MUMMY LOVE!

Us, after Parade, all tired!

The Funpack!

The goodies within!
And I personally think that the funpack design is beautiful, make me miss old school days :)
And there were different phrases imprinted on each bags, giving it a whole new meaning.

My favourite part of NDP was when Mr Lee Kuan Yew came and everyone stood up and cheered as a form of respect, love and care. It shows how much we respected him for his contribution to Singapore and every individual loves him, the father of Singapore. Thank you so much for making Singapore possible for everyone of us. Without you, Singapore wouldnt be what it is and who we are today.

And I Love Singapore simply because, it is my home. (:
