Infront of you, they agree with all your pointers and are portrayed as an angelic figurine.

Behind your back, they use needles to prick and got you hurt.

He who covers and keep mum about the whole incident.

She who lies and uses the bad of others to get away with the situation.

Actions speak louder than words.

What was done can never revert back the initial image nor attitude one see in you.

Think again before you do anything, for people are watching....

The Coastal Settlement - Vintage!

Got abit too busy with work and school and that explains why I'm rarely blogging nowadays. =(

Nevertheless, i'm back with a tad load of wonders! 

All who knew me well enough, knew that I am a fan of vintage.
I have always wanted to track all vintage places and visit them but I never really have the time.
So when I have a chance to, I ought to pen down every single fond memories.

The other day, I met up with my best bunch of ex-colleagues who were the nicest people ever during my days at the Fullerton Hotel. 

Sarah suggested to this place which I have heard about and was telling the boy about it previously that I want to go and try the food there. The boy mentioned before that it was near his camp area and he was so sick of walking pass the place several times.

So the 8 of us which included three other of Sarah and Lynn's fren had dinner at 'The Coastal Settlement' (TCS) situated @ Netheravon Road. Definitely an awesome place to go vintage with!
Ambience was great but I would suggest to go in the day for better photo-taking results cus it's kinda dim at night and there are super lots of mosquitoes especially if you are dining outside the restaurant. 

They had cutlery placed in olden days kind of wooden container, olden days kind of bowls and they served sandwiches on chopping boards. Pretty cool isn't it? 

We ordered quite a bit of food, sat outside the restaurant, chit-chat and enjoyed the ambience of the cafe restaurant. I was enthralled by the decor they display ranging from olden days windows to olden days Coca-cola & 7 Ups glass bottles, olden days telephones and vintage cars! 

Price of food was pretty much the norms of a cafe restaurant and we paid about $35 per pax which includes the little surprise cake bought from the Cafe for Jack who was an Australian friend.

Will Never Be The Best.

You didn't have to plead for I initiate the question in the first place.
You didn't have to arrange for I have become the middleman to stitch up every occasions.
You didn't have to feel inferior because I bought the bestest for you.
You didn't have to worry because you didn't have to face those rebellions for the years back then not the future years to come, because you have someone completely different from the others.
You didn't have to fear of bullies because you have someone who will always be there to stand up for you in whatever circumstances it may be.
A girl but like a man of the house, the youngest but like the pillar of them all.
Who would have been that matured to filter the happenings and settle irregardless feelings all by herself just cause she didn't want any worries to occur?
Who would have been so thoughtful to always make time for you, save and buy the bestest for you, listen to your sorrows and support you mentally even if you may not be on the right track, performing the right decision?

Eventually, all efforts reduced to become wastes.
Eventually, you never once felt proud, happy or blessed.
Maybe it's just so difficult to be your best.
Maybe that someone can never be of your fame.

I sincerely hoped that in your next life if there were to be, you wouldn't have to meet that someone anymore.
Maybe then you will be happier, maybe then you will always feel like you have all the best.
I have done enough, I have had enough.
It's okay if you do not feel happy, It's okay if all my efforts have just been rubbish. It's okay if there were not a single appreciation from anyone single one.

I have never once felt so lethargic, so unworthy.
You taught me how unthoughtful I should be.

In future, I'm not gonna do more.
Never gonna be....

Sagittarians

Was doing my individual project assignment and I chanced upon the traits of a sagittarian, which I thought was quite interesting.

Based on the traits depicted by a Sagittarian, I can conclude that I am a pure sagittarian. It's true how the below mentioned traits reveal most of the character of me:

1. Intelligent: People usually think you're dumb on first sight but once they get to know you, they realised you are intelligent and become fond of your talent. (Erms, I am not super intelligent but I don't think I'm a fool either) 
2. Straightforward: Yes you are very daring (Do not ask a sagittarian how you're looking, they can easily say the truth "I think your dressing is not at all fashionable, or simply you're ugly.") They meant no hard feelings because they are just so direct and straight to the point. They just dislike to be fake. (Oh, this is so true! I just cannot be fake, like means like, hate means hate and I tend to say it or show it on my face straight) 
3. Awfully attractive: Yes! You are always surrounded by many people and you're always the center of attention. You'll always be the stunning star of the evening! (I don't think I'm awfully attractive, just that I can easily befriend and make friends fond of me and have many friends around me all the times) 
4. Careless: Sagittarians are always very careless. You'll often find them searching for their keys, wallet, journals etc. They simply cannot remember where they put their stuffs and end up losing this and that. (This is so true, that is why I talked about losing my precious anklet previously. sigh!)
5. Responsible: You're a Born Leader! (Not so much of a born leader but I definitely think I'm responsible because be it sch project work or work, I will never shirk responsibility. What is to be done, must be done) 
6. Totally cool: It's hard for you to impress a sagittarian because they simply have their principles and strong character that you just think they are super cool on the outlook. (People say I'm dao on first sight. hahaha!) 
7. Easy-going: You do not need to have any tension when you are with a sagittarian they are just so easy-going and nice. (If you know me well enough, I'm definitely very easy-going and not unapproachable on first sight!) 
8. Adventurer: Doing the impossible is definitely a sagittarian's favourite chore. They love to travel and discover new things. ( Indeed I love to travel and discover new insights and accepts challenges!) 
9. Good sense of humor: Sagittarian just have the flair to make your day with a good laugh. (I can be super crappy at times because my sense of humor is passed down from daddy. LOL)
10. Decency & Grace: Sagittarians adore people with decent attitudes and when it comes to a selections, they possess good tastes in choosing and suggesting the best. It's their gift to have unique tastes. (Oh yes super true! I hate to mix around with indecent people and so I super dislike people who are just indecent and act like sluts / bitches) 
11. Friendly: Humbleness and politeness is their nature and even though they are friendly, they have a reserved group of social circle. (Definitely true that I have a reserved group of social circle whom I trust ) 
12. Independent:Sagittarians do not rely on others and can depend on themselves for the all-year round tasks. They love freedom and hates being tied down by routine-life. (Needless to say, since young, i'm super independent!) 

I somehow love being a sagittarian because I am always younger than friends of my age group. Teehee! Birthdays always seemed so faraway for me even though the difference of a year is similar to that of others. 

The other day I mentioned that I will jog weekly and I am really determined to do so.
Went for a night jog last night with dearest and felt super refreshed thereafter. Kudos to me for running 2.2km non-stop. It's quite an achievement to me given that I have not trained my stamina for the past few years? So gradually, I am gonna increase the distance and stay healthy! (:

Vesak Day

Happy Vesak Day to all!

And thanks to Vesak Day, I need not have to work on Monday either.

Which is why I mentioned that I have a long weekend to spend.

But definitely, I gotta allocate some time for projects and presentation preparation as usual.

I woke up this morning to bad nightmares again.
I am those sort of people who seldom dream while sleeping and once I start to have the influx of dreams, the dreams usually turn out to be ridiculous nonsense.

It was the second time I dreamt about almost the same scenario and the person involved is one of my family member. So I got quite worried actually.

Went to the Shuang Lin Monastery at Toa Payoh with dad and mum in the morning as it was Vesak Day.

As usual, the temple is always packed with people on this day.

I like the place very much because it always give me a very peaceful feel.

Not only that, I always feel that their architecture as well as displays always blend into the concept of nature and it never fails to appeal to the locals as well as the foreigners who will drop by for a photograph. This is one of those places that foreigners would visit if they ever come to Singapore. 

The place is very much decorated with live nature like plants and flowers and non-living designs like carvings, stones and big rocks. 

Chanced upon the beautiful lotus flower that was full bloomed. 

After I took the photo, everyone else who saw started to take out their Iphones or cameras to shoot. Haha! It's such a babe isn't it?! The inner part of it indeed looks like the lotus roots that we eat.

I hope the long weekend due to the public holiday will heal the tiredness in me.
