The Little Bits & Pieces I Can Do.

As a daughter, I can take care of my parents when they are old and frail and is having difficulties to walk.
As a girlfriend / wife-to-be, I can ensure that my another half is always happy.
As a granddaughter, I can call my grandma on a daily basis to let her know I care and I dote on her.
As a friend, I can listen, advice and be there anytime, anywhere.

Because I care, because they matter.

It was the boy's brother-in-law's birthday today.
Knowing that he has been rather down recently due to family matter, the least I could do for him was a simple message of care and concern to let him know that he is not alone.
I am the sort of person who spends extra efforts and time doing something because I appreciate the person.

I bought a small Kaya cake and I took that out and say: " Sorry ah, no time buy you proper cake, happy birthday." 


Then, deardear and his sis walked out with the proper cake! SURPRISE!

Hehe. Cake is from Emicakes and it's Tiramisu flavoured!

It costs about SGD50 plus and comes with free delivery.

Had Udders ice-cream today in the office as it was bought from one of the client. It's the ever-loving Chocolate and Rum Raisin flavour! Been awhile since I've been to Udders. Time to go there for some leisure!

It's labour day tomorrow, so Happy Holiday People! :)

So long they are happy, I am happy. 

The Last Of The Week.

Woke up supra early today to prepare myself and waited for the boy to fetch me to the skin doctor. 

The place is always so full of people and if you have just came 10 or 15mins later than the time it opens, you prolly got to wait for at least another 1hr30mins till your turn. I ever reached at 11am and waited for my turn till almost 3pm. It's seriously insane but definitely worth the wait. 

Finally, this time round, it's my last review. Say YAY because I do not have to wake up supra early to queue anymore, won't have to get irritated over the area that always don't heal and hello to the flawless-skin-to-be!

Consultation plus night cream was almost 80 bucks in total. In future, should any of the products run out, I can just drop by at the counter to purchase without consulting the doctor. =D 

Had a fruitful Sunday because I went for my jogging with dearest! Almost died because it's been another while since I last ran. But well, I'm gonna build back the stamina and I will make it a point to run every Saturday / Sunday! The boy and me even thought of going for marathon sometime after I build up my stamina. Super Supra ON! Hehe. 

After which, the boy came over to my house for dinner with mummy and we watched the Star Awards!
Loving how Rui En always have the "Think Whatever About Me, For I Feel No Need To Explain To Anyone." kind of aura. To me, she is the most authentic celebrity who doesn't hide her true self infront of others just for the sake of fame and recognition. It's like if you like her, you like her because she is her.

Immersed In The Holiday Fever.

I am super immersed in the holiday fever because I am delighted that next week is a 4-day work week and another reason why so is cus I can't wait for my June trip to Taiwan!

Had a headstart to planning the itinerary and I am all excited!
Can't wait to go beautiful Taiwan and shop till I drop!

I had quite a listless Saturday because I am feeling damn tired and just wished to sit through the day without doing anything.

The boy picked me up to lunch at his house and I can't stop teasing him to be the hamster because his cheeks were quite swollen from the wisdom tooth operation. If you know how hamsters store their food in their mouth, you will know why I would call him a hamster. =D

After lunch, we went to Bugis to pray and walked about for awhile. Didn't had the mood for shopping and I wanna save more money to spend in Taiwan! :)

Got home early today because I have an appointment with the skin doctor tomorrow at supra early hours.
Am glad that my skin is so much better now. Used to have this area on the face that just keeps popping pimples out and doesn't heal at all. But now, say YAY! it's gone and just left with abit of scar which I am gonna consult the doctor tomorrow to get rid of.

Looking forward to flawless skin again! :)

We Find Happiness.

HIP HIP HOORAY TO WEEKENDS! 

Just came home at 10plus due to school and thanks to Aud for always giving me a ride back home. 

For the whole of this week, I have had the sleepy and lethargic kind of look painted on my face and it spells it all. I'm extremely exhausted.

Classmates who saw me on first sight said: "Dianna, you okay anot? You looked like you have not slept for the entire week!" 

Of cus I don't look like I have those black rings around my eyes and is about to die kind but I just have the super tired face on me that seemed to depict I can no longer find the extra strength to spur on. 

So weekends, please be nice to me.

Let me have the ample rest I need and I promised I will look better next week because it's just a four-day work week!

Oh yes, the boy had his wisdom tooth operation at Tan Tock Seng yesterday and I must really looked up to him for being such a brave boy. He had all 4 wisdom tooth removed at one go, as if it's as simple as just removing the cap from the bottle. Hope his fleshy soft gums will heal soon and we can eat food around the world again! Hehe. 

The day before his op, we had Teppanyaki for dinner @ Nex and I must say the one at Ang Mo Kio is still so much better. They used to have it at Wisma but it's now in the midst of renovation and we ain't sure if it will still be operating after the refurbishment. 

After dinner, we had yogurt! I did mention I wanna try as much yogurt as possible, didn't I?

So the boy and me bought 5 online vouchers from Voucherlicious to enjoy the promotional benefits from Glacious which has a physical store @ Nex Shopping Mall basement.

It costs only SGD3.00 for 7Oz cup plus it comes with a free topping of your choice!

They had flavors like blueberry, strawberry, original etc.
We tried the strawberry-flavored frozen yogurt and I chose Nata De Coco as the topping.

Looking yummylicious right ? It has a unique kind of taste that doesn't make it taste like strawberry at all. To me, it tastes more like plum-flavored? The boy loves it and for me, I still prefer my strawberry-flavored from Sogurt! Teehee! 

Wore my Polka dots skirt to work. The other time was Cherry remember? Yes, they were from the same blogshop. The two designs caught my eyes so I couldn't help getting both of my size. Never had to worry about the size for high-waisted skirts because they will definitely fit at the high waist which is supposed to be smaller. At other times for normal skirts at hip, I have to make up my mind as to choose S or M because the size for different skirts vary. 

Had my eyebrow trimmed sometime back and is loving how neat it is still looking right now. However, I presume I gotta trim it real soon again! When you signed up for a package, trimming just become so addictive that you will end up not giving the package a definite lifespan. 

Opened up my drawer the other day and decided to start using the eyebrow colour from KATE.
Don't used to draw my eyebrows because I'm lucky enough to have voluminous eyebrows that are super black. So I've decided to go for a brown-coloured eyebrow instead. But instead of those common pencil eyebrow liner, I tried the liquid form and really loves the tone of the colour that makes me look fresher!

Also have this eye lashes serum from Heroine Make which I will only use when I put on Mascara so that it will protect the lashes. Don't fancy putting mascaras because it's too troublesome to clean and I think my lashes are healthy and long enough and I don't want to lose the healthy them.
Applying mascara too often will result in frequent lashes loss especially if you don't wash away the mascara properly.
So I only apply mascara once in a blue moon and I thought the serum will come handy!

Looks like it's gonna be a good relaxing night to sleep on tonight!

What is Respect deemed as to you? 

To me, it should be mutual and regarded as neutral and natural, not something that is induced by someone else upon you or forced at the veins of your throat.

Respect is built up from the countless experiences gained to realize that trust is present and you can count on that somebody.
Respect is not about you performing acts which is only visible to your counterpart at a later time after you have made the final call.
And Respect is earned because you believe.

Apparently, I am just so difficult to please, so difficult to be understood.

It was something so simple, yet so unattainable.

Perhaps I have grown far too much, perhaps I have walked a lot more further.
Perhaps I should reckon the difference of heights and place myself in yours-to-be current location.
Perhaps I should just comment less, be less direct, hide emotions and things might just get better than that.

So what if it hurts?
Who bothers or cares? Who would sympathize your silly emotions?
They just do away with it by classifying all your damn emotions as mood swings.
Brushed your circumstances aside and sweep everything under the carpet till a day it explodes off that shelf and burnt all the books of the same level.

It's okay if no one were to comprehend.
It's alright if whatever I say appeals no sense to anyone
Treat it as I am just ranting rubbish.
Is feeling atrocious right now and ain't in need of queries.

My Self-Pampering.

Over the weekends, I did quite abit of satisfying self-pampering!

Boyfriend and his dad went to buy the famous Lao Ban Soya Beancurd (老伴豆花）from Maxwell and so I had the fortune of eating one bowl!

It's the best tau huey I have ever eaten because it is super smooth such that you can jus gulp down your throat if you dont feel like biting at all. Teehee!

Went to meet the project mates at Raffles Place Coffee Club to collate our slides for the upcoming presentation and as we ended quite early, I made my way to Raffles City for my classic pedicure!

It was at FE The Nail Lounge and they had two outlets , one at the basement and one at the second storey. 

The classic pedicure consists of filing, scrubbing, massaging and removal of dead skins.

Was making my way from the bustling town back to dearie's place and I was trying so hard to stay a distance from every single person because I won't want them to step on my toes!

Good choice to wear slippers out when you suddenly feel like having a pedicure! 

Am also loving how smooth my feet are now because the dead skin has all been removed!

It's good to pamper yourself sometimes especially when you have a tired week and feels like a litter in the rubbish dump.

What Doesn't Kill, Makes You Stronger.

Was trying real hard to digest the prophecy behind "What Doesn't Kill, Makes You Stronger".

To some degree, I kind of agree.

But having gone through nuts in life, I feel many a times, what doesn't kill just make you become more lethargic, weaker at times and you change to become a different person.
Life is just so ironic.

It's once again the weekends which I seldom look forward to these days because life has really been too hectic for me. All the heavy burdens from the school especially when project submissions and presentations are all round the corner and with the heavy workload now, I was simply crazed with after-impacts of stress.

It has come to a point whereby I have learnt how to deduce my priority and the extent of miles I should or should not go. Afterall, I am still young and there are plenty of encounters out there for me to get interacted.

Okay, so much for ranting.

The other day I wore this cherry skirt to work and it got my colleagues' attention because they were also going bonkers and wanted to eat those cherries. One of my favourite skirts which I seldom wear.

Infact I have got like 5 closets of clothes and I do not have enough hangers for every single piece.
This is a sign that I should start to pack and go for my usual flea markets!!!
Problem is, when will I ever have time? Sigh. 

And I've always pamper myself on more clothes because online blogshops are simply addictive. Still, I have cut down alot compared to before because I simply don't have the extra time to surf the net now. Boohoos. 

Came home that day with a parcel received. Loving the knitted navy top and I always love it when they write those lovely notes to express their care and concern (: 

Gonna start clearing my workload and have an early night later. (fingers-crossed)

No Place Better Than Home.

When you are infested with the lethargic bugs after being sponged out from work and study, all you can ever think of is "No, I'm not very interested to hang out, I wanna go home."

Be it going home to sleep, have a short rest or just sit and daze, there are just no place better than home.

Once again, it's Moan-day (Monday) and all of us should be feeling very dull, trying to fix yourself back into one piece again to get your engine spurred on.

Oh well, yesterday, right before the day ended, I met up with cousin to sign up for some insurance policy which apparently is some basic endowment savings plan that I can retrieve at the age of 55 years old. We are all growing older each day and it's time to lay some path ahead of us just in case anything happen.

Oh did I mention that I bought the Hunger Games storybooks? To be exact, deardear helped me to get it when he was out with his frenz at town someday. Passed by Kinokuniya and he asked if I wanted to get a copy because I was telling him after the movie that I was quite interested in reading the book.

I remembered the very last time when I was super enthusiastic over a book was the time when P.S I Love You was on great hits! And I must say that book was really awesome. I hope this time round, the results will be the same too!

It comes in a series of three and like I mentioned before, the next part will be Catching Fire which seemed to be releasing in the cinemas on November 2012. Dear mentioned that the storyline is gonna be the call-back for all Winners and as expected, Jennifer Lawrence gonna take the throne again! 

Still remember some time back, I got these three cutie pies from Artbox for my lovely colleagues at work.

To me, little things like this reveals my appreciation for the people whom I adore.
Kinda upset that I have one lesser to buy now :((

Anyway, cute books like this always make me have the urge to write very neatly on them and turn the pages every now and then even if there are nothing to refer to. Yes, just look at how silly I am! But well, gals always get captivated by cute stuffs, No? 

Next up is my ever first trial on Mac products.

Loving how the inner side of the paper bag has their website printed on it and the green tone as well!

I got a $120 Tangs Voucher from my dinner and dance's draw and have yet to use them. So deardear and I decided to patronise Tangs at Vivocity where we splurged the voucher on a Hush Puppies extra light-weight luggage bag, topped up some cash and it was also where the Mac lipgloss caught my eye!

I'm pretty curious why Mac calls it Lipglass. Maybe it's named such that upon applying, it shimmers like glass? But I'm definitely loving how it shines on my lips and the colour tone is just nice for me. Not too mad red and not too dull to make me look like i'm sick or is deprived of blood. LOL. 

Was a good day spent with dearie after work today.

Been such a long time since I headed out after work and Tampines feel very much different now.

Oh It's Saturday!

How important are weekends to you?

When Friday arrives, everyone will go "THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY!" 

But I will never once felt that way because Friday is never once a 'hang-out' day as I have to turn up for lessons in school.

Have never felt so tired in my entire life before.
So tired that suddenly, weekends have become so important to me. 

Tired me on weekdays!

Weekends are the only days I can rest peacefully, have abit of extra time for myself or to finish up those tasks that were left undone. It's the only time I can sneak in abit of leisure and destress. 

It's Saturday today and deardear came to pick me and we headed to Tampines for my eyebrow trimming session. Say YAY to that because it's been so long since I went for my last eyebrow trimming session and my brows were getting abit too messy. 

Walked about, had lunch at Mac with the new spicy nuggets and mcchicken bites and seaweed fries!
Fattening I know, but these three items are really AWESOME! 

Went to the supermarket to buy some biscuits, sweets, a box of green tea sachets, Innershine to fulfill myself at work when I get hungry or thirsty. 

After which, we headed to dear's sister house at Kembagan as deardear went to help with the painting of Baby Dylan's room.

Deardear bought it for me from the Gmarket and it's looking great and cool!

Look at how multi-positioned it can be! 

I've always love this kind of leather-brown or those orangey-brown and that is why I've got wedges with the colour and it is my favourite shoe! 

Anyway, collated the Asian Management Project and it's finally done up and ready for submission.

Lend me a thousand hands, perhaps that would be enough for me to deal with the many commitments each day.

I am getting abit far too drained, way too tired.

Life is getting so meaningless with the daily routines and the failure to commit wholeheartedly.

I don't know how long I can withstand,.

The energy in me can no longer be found, like I have aged big time and is starting to slow down.
I can no longer find the motivation and strength in me, like someone else has stolen the full blast from me.
I can no longer feel and is totally immune to all sorts of ridiculous happenings.

Way too lethargic, wished I could just sleep and not wake up the next second.
Way too stressed, wished I have a robot which can help me do all the tasks and I could just sit and watch.
Way too profound, I can no longer understand life.

Not even a bit of time remained, not even a heart to follow through.
My heart is dead.
My mind swifts and my soul is lost and can be found nowhere.
