In addition, colours are important as well isn't it?
  • Red - Love, Beauty, Courage and Respect, Romantic Love, Congratulations, "I Love You", "Job Well Done", Sincere Love, Respect, Courage & Passion
  • Red (Dark) - Unconscious beauty
  • White - Purity, Innoncence & Youthfulness
  • Pink - Appreciation, Admiration, Gentleness & Gratitude
  • Black - Death & Farewell
  • Blue - The unattainable, the impossible
In case you didn't know, black & blue roses do not exist in the real world of nature.
The rest of the mentioned colours are natural but black and blue are made artificially in terms of their colours.
That's why you don't usually see them in the physical florist stores.
And having to be done artificially will mean more efforts put in and more pricey definitely.
And thanks to my good taste of price and style, My favourite rose colour is blue. =D HEHEHE!

Fall & Stand Up Again.

"Life comprises of ups & downs."
And when you get too depressed when things have fallen apart, don't get too grieved for far too long.
Because those who truly care will worry and those who have hurt you will feel you as a straight loser.
They can't wait to see how hurt you will be and how devastated you will become.
And if you continue living in the world of being hopeless and get drowned by those unnecessary emotions,
it will only give them an opportunity to move on further than you .
It will only make you look like a fool, a clown whom totally amuse them in the wrong manner.

So what if it all started with a bond, a relation, a friendship?
The moment when people have chosen to take a path which you least expect, and backstabbed you,
you should have known that such a person was just living in his/her world of facade,
treating every individual with only nothing but fakeness.
They masked themselves infront of others to first gain some care and concern and,
later on, when they have found new counterparts to depend on,
they use those mean tactics against you to show you their true colours.

The moment when things turned awkward and ugly, was the time when I tell myself,
Such a jerk ain't worth it to be my friend.
Indeed I was grieved over the matter because he was a person whom I trusted, knew long enough than any others, and see as a good friend to-be.
I don't deny it affected me not only a little, but much to the extent I have wanted to do something more just to make myself appeased.
Confrontations are what I have always believe in.
I never liked the idea of people talking behind each other back because if I was the victim,
I would opt for confrontation.
If you have a problem with me, or any areas that you may have felt dismay with me,
Confront me face-to-face, come straight to the point and just comment infront of me, not behind my back.
Cowards like them did not dare to do so and upon confronting them myself,
all they could say was remarks that eventually made them pathetic people.

I am the sort who will become very affected when something related to me happened,
Because I have a heart unless those who didn't have one that is purely made of authenticity.
But then again, after being affected, I am the sort who can still stand up strong, not pretending that nothing has happened like what they are doing now but become a stronger me to do the right things.

I am not gonna pretend that nothing has happened.
Neither Am I going to forgive and forget.
What has happened has allowed me to see through the real side of them all.
I don't really bother if it's a joint affair or whoever else are involved as accomplices.
So long I do my duties well enough,
I will outshine these jerks in terms of a better attitude, a better character and a better future.

And if you ever think that time can heal the wound in me,
And I will probably treat you both better someday,
Then you both gotta be so wrong.
Because that will never ever happen.

I've always believed that karma exists.
For such people who have hurt me, watch your back.
Because heaven knows it all.

And thank you for making me come back, far stronger than before.

And don't you regret one day for what I am today because all your single actions shaped the outcome of what it gonna be for the rest of your life.

Bakerzin New York Strawberry Cheesecake!

Strawberry cheesecake has always been suchalove!
I'm not a person who is very into sweet snacks or desserts because i'm born without a sweet tooth :(
To ask me to eat a birthday cake will require much consideration on my side as well cus sweet stuffs simply do not appeal to me at all.

Till that day we got dear's sister and brother a New York Strawberry cheesecake from Bakerzin
It was wrapped super nicely and the box colour was so candy-like and everyone adored it!

Such a sweet candylicious appearance right?

The cake itself was really delicious as well! Not too cheezy or sweet for my liking.

It costs SGD48.15 for this which was quite reasonable and we did our self-collection @ MyVillage - Serangoon Gardens.

Dear's brother is currently still in London and hence, we could not celebrate with him physically. Still, we did include his name on the cake! and look at how this cutie pie wishes his uncle :

We took him to the supermarket and he was all ready for National Day Pledge taking. LOL

And I'll be back to share my baking recipe for Strawberry Cheesecake soon!
Did my very first baking of strawberry cheesecake for the boy, his family and my family! :)

NDP 2012

HAPPY 47TH BIRTHDAY, SINGAPORE! :)

Reasons why I loved Singapore:

  • So what if we are small? We are recognized for a clean & green environment.
  • We have a set of prefixed law that keeps our nation stable and safe.
  • We are lucky that we do not have natural disasters like volcano eruption, landslides, tornado etc.
  • There is peace and harmony
  • And most importantly, this is where I have my loved ones, families and friends.
Thanks to dear, we had tickets for the actual day of NDP itself at the floating platform!

Reached the NDP at almost 4pm and had a seat at the centre of the green sector where we could see the stage quite clearly. Not a bad seating, so we were really lucky!
We had four tickets and so I brought daddy and mummy along as well!
Daddy was such a hyper Singaporean when the parade starts too!
And of cus Mummy was rather excited to be able to join NDP2012 parade especially after so many years since she last participated in NDP as an audience.

My Bestest Daddy!

Dearest Mummy & Boy

Had the normal security checks and all and got our way to the green sector to get seated down!

Nice green background!

Love this pic with redness!
As we get seated down, we got ourselves busy with meddling and ransacking the fun pack to see what was inside.
And TA DA! I got myself started HIGH with tattoos!

It started with just one Singapore Flag
And my mischievous boy made me become tattoo-insane like these:

Then, the tattoo on my face was made spolit!
From Singapore , it became Singap. :(

My brilliant masterpiece on his face!

Avnet Customer's Appreciation Day!

Backtracked to a few weeks back, I went for the event - Avnet's Customer's Appreciation Day!

It was held at Resorts Sentosa on a Friday and I went with two of my colleagues, Lily & Qianqian.
We had a great time taking the public transport together, reaching the Resorts World Convention Center before 12 noon.
Headed to reception for registration and sat down for lunch thereafter.

A few talks / speeches went on and after which, we were splitted into different teams for the Amazing Race!
Teamed up with Lily, Qianqian, two others from IBM and two others from DFS.

The start-off was just a mere brisk walk for some photo-taking session with the parrot.
I got the parrot held on my hand, but didnt get a photo of it here eventually.

The Amazing Race began with watching the 4D Pirates Show that was really hilarious.
All the splish-splash of water, on-seat movements that got each one of us supra excited.
We had to answer a few questions after that and we moved on to the next station which we had to deduce from the hints itself.

Photo taken @ Pirates

Hello FR Team Members! :)
The hint on the paper was "Once is never enough" and so we moved on to the next station which was the Ludge!
The challenge was to bite the cup filled with water in your mouth as you ride the ludge and ensure you collect adequate water to fill a container at the end of the ludge.
Sounds simple huh, but when you get on the ludge with your cup full of water, you will realise the water pours all over your chin and nose.
I didnt get wet till towards the end when you are about to return the ludge, everyone behind you dont really bother to brake and knock into you. The feel is like :" WTH? Thank you very much!"
So we poured the remaining water into the container and off we went for the next hint to the next station.

Us with the cups filled with water

QQ & Me!
Then we took the sky ride!

QQ looking happy!

Beautiful nature!

We were then supposed to climb all the way up to the Merlion to take a photo and pass to their game master assistants to move on to the next challenge.

Merlion

Apparently, the Sky Tower was on maintenance so we had to give that challenge a miss.

Sky Tower
The last challenge of all was to go into the past of Singapore and answer a few questions.
Below are some of my favourite pictures that I got while walking through the memory of lane to the past of Singapore.

Chinese Opera

Mixture of People

Peranakan

Olden Days Chinese Wedding

QQ

The last challenge was to go to the souvenir shop and use up the vouchers given. But you must choose the cheapest items possible so that your quantity of gifts will be a tad more.

And guess what? It was our first time participating in the event and we came in as the FIRST TEAM to accomplish the whole Amazing Race. And because of that, we each receive $50 Capitaland voucher along with $20 which comes as a door gift. Hehe.

GOOD JOB TEAM D! :)

The loots from Avnet
We definitely had a great time on a Friday which was supposed to be a day at work.
At my age, I definitely enjoy this kind of sporty adventure once in a while! :)

And the other day while at work, I received a courier from my Taiwan friend, Glenn!
She was so sweet lurh.
She went to London and knowing that I love Hello Kitty, she got this mini folder for me where Kitty was in The London Army uniform. Awwwwsss.
So touched that she still remember me wherever she goes and we only got to know each other through my last trip to Taiwan.

London Kitty
Talking about Taiwan, Yesyes, its time to share about the trip soon after lagging for such a long time. Oops!
